Nearly 30 years of litigation experience. Every case handled personally.
I've spent my career representing people who've built something they care about — and are dealing with a legal problem that puts it at risk.
I earned my law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law and started practicing in 1997. Early in my career, I handled complex business litigation at an AmLaw 100 firm — large cases with a lot at stake and real consequences for the clients involved. That's where I learned how to build a case, how to take apart the other side's case, and how to operate in a courtroom when it matters.
I also spent time as in-house litigation counsel at a Fortune 100 company, which gave me something most outside attorneys never get: the experience of being on the client's side of the table. I've sat in the conference room as the business trying to figure out how to handle a dispute, manage risk, and make decisions under pressure. That perspective shapes how I work with every client today — I understand what you're going through because I've been in that seat.
Eventually, I built my own practice. Not because I wanted to go smaller — but because I wanted to do the work the right way. Personally. With real attention. For clients I actually know.
I handle three interconnected areas of practice, all connected by a common thread: significant assets, complicated situations, and clients who need experienced counsel.
Business and commercial litigation is the anchor of my practice — partnership disputes, breach of contract, shareholder conflicts, commercial fraud, and high-value collections. When a business deal goes wrong, I handle the fight.
High-asset family law is where my litigation background becomes uniquely valuable. When a divorce involves a business, significant real estate, and complex financial structures, you need an attorney who understands both family law and the business side. That intersection is where I operate.
Estate, probate, and trust litigation rounds out my practice — will contests, trust disputes, and fiduciary litigation, especially when the estate involves business interests or multi-generational wealth. These cases carry real emotional weight on top of the legal complexity, and I approach them accordingly.
I tell clients the truth about their case — even when it's not what they want to hear. I'd rather give you an honest assessment on day one than let you spend months and dollars on a case that doesn't justify it. And when a case does justify the fight, I put everything I have into getting the best outcome possible.
I serve clients across the entire Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. I'm accessible, responsive, and I pick up my own phone. When you hire me, you get me. That's a deliberate choice, and it's the foundation of how I practice.
